This is a wiki unofficially made by a nerd and unaffiliated with Wikipedia or any other official channels.

The aim for this wiki is to document the world as it was in the baroque era and will allow for information about 1600-1750.

This wiki could have been named for its baroque era or for the period 1600-1750, but for now it is a good idea to pin down a single year as being the primary year, to resolve possible date arguments.

This wiki is intended to provide detailed coverage of the people, places, events, ideas, and cultures of the period 1600–1750, with a focus on how they relate to one another within their historical context.

Research conducted for this wiki may also be useful for improving other educational resources, including Wikipedia, where such contributions meet the standards of those projects.

The idea is to add and interconnect information in a way that a person can get a representative view of the specific era without all the added information about the other era's.

This wiki aims to provide historically sourced educational information about the period 1600–1750.

Right now editing is blocked for normal users.

This will be expanded in the future, once the wiki has a basic structure to it and once basic rules are set up to accommodate editors.
